Florida building collapse survivor search continues into the night

SURFSIDE, Fla. (NewsNation Now) — The search for survivors continues after part of a 12-story condo building in Florida collapsed early Thursday morning. Officials say 99 people are still missing and 102 have been found. One death has been confirmed, and Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said there would not be another update until 7 a.m. ET Friday. A volunteer in South Walton helped save a man stuck in a rip current

Panama City woman arrested on major child abuse charges

PANAMA CITY, Fla (WMBB) — A Panama City woman was arrested for child abuse by willful torture in the form of starvation, child abuse resulting in mental injury, and child abuse by aggravated battery, according to the Panama City Police Department. Throughout the investigation, they found that Terri Lynn Manning, 49, gained custody of the child eight years ago and that the child had been starved for the duration of her life.
